Resident Evil Requiem Review

So just finished Resident Evil Requiem and in all honesty Resident Evil Requiem is honestly one of the most gripping survival horror experiences I’ve played in a long time. From the first step into its world, the game wraps you in this heavy, suffocating atmosphere that refuses to let go. The atmosphere is absolutely incredible. The lighting is masterfully done and shadows stretch across walls like they’re alive, and every dimly lit corridor feels like it’s hiding something waiting to strike. The environmental design is packed with detail, making every location feel believable and disturbingly real. It’s not just scary because of enemies or it’s scary because the world itself feels hostile. The sound design elevates everything, distant echoes, subtle creaks, and moments of near silence that make your heart pound before anything even happens. Then there’s the combat and this is where the game truly shines. It feels tense, weighty, and deliberate. Every bullet matters. Every encounter fo...

Romeo is a Dead Man Review

So last night i finished Romeo Is a Dead Man and it’s pure, unfiltered chaos but the kind that feels intentional, stylish, and bursting with personality. From the opening moments, it throws you into a storm of complete over the top action, absurd humor, and surreal storytelling that refuses to slow down. And somehow, that madness becomes its greatest strength. The combat is explosive and theatrical. Every encounter feels like a violent stage performance drenched in blood and neon. The mechanics reward aggression and creativity rather than safe, repetitive play. You’re encouraged to experiment, chain attacks, and fight with style instead of just surviving. One of my favorite aspects was the “bastards” farming system and progression mechanics. It could’ve felt repetitive, but it never does. Farming bastards feeds directly into a satisfying upgrade loop that constantly empowers you. Every run builds momentum and dive into chaos, harvest the rewards, enhance your abilities, and jump back i...

Dragon Quest VII Reimagined Review

So few days I ago I finished Dragon Quest VII Reimagined  and it’s a bold and heartfelt revival of one of the most ambitious entries in the long-running Dragon Quest series. Rather than simply polishing the original, this version feels thoughtfully rebuilt and modern where it needs to be, but still unmistakably classic at its core. The story keeps its emotional, episodic structure, traveling to fragmented islands across time and restoring what was lost. Each chapter feels like its own self-contained tale, often tackling surprisingly mature themes beneath the series’ charming core. What makes it special is how personal these island stories feel. They aren’t just side stops, they’re emotional snapshots of broken worlds that you slowly fix. The combat remains turn-based, strategic, and comfortingly traditional. The quality-of-life additions make a huge difference. Faster battle speeds, visible enemies, streamlined menus, and improved class progression, the vocation system shines brigh...

Yakuza Kiwami 3 & Dark Ties Review

So finished Yakuza Kiwami 3 & Dark Ties and with all the controversy aside it was enjoyable. The modernized combat and refreshed presentation made stepping back into Kamurocho and Okinawa a blast, and the story though it’s familiar still packed emotional weight. It isn’t without it’s flaws, there are some questionable choices and the recast of certain characters felt like an odd choice some performances honestly didn’t quite land the way the originals did, and it took me out of the experience at times. Yakuza Kiwami 3 shines when it comes to side activities and mini-games they’re an absolute blast. Whether it’s diving into substories, managing the Morning Glory orphanage, running around Okinawa or Kamurocho, or getting lost in classic arcade distractions, there’s always something fun to do. That said, a lot of this content feels recycled from previous entries. While it’s still entertaining, longtime fans will recognize many of these activities, which makes the experience feel a bit...
