Baten Kaitos: Eternal Wings and the Lost Ocean Review

I finished Baten Kaitos: Eternal Wings and the Lost Ocean! First time experiencing it and I enjoyed it. The story is good, the combat is so fun and dynamic, the artstyle is beautiful, and soundtrack is probably among the best I've heard in any game


The remaster is fine compared to other remasters. The backgrounds were updated very faithfully and the updated 3D models look beautiful. It has fantastic QOL updates as well, like no encounters, gameplay speed ups and even a new new game + and new game - mode!


Plus unfortunately the English voice acting was removed from the remaster, leaving Japanese as the only option. And while I can attest that the Japanese voice acting is much better overall imo, there are still many fans who like the English dub


Overall. I highly recommend the game even if you don’t feel like card-RPGs are your style, Baten Kaitos is good enough that you might just change your mind!

So I finished Xenoblade Chronicles X: Definitive Edition and I loved it! it’s an ambitious and amazing RPG that excels in exploration, world building, and combat with beautiful OST. The game excels in its deep customization options, allowing players to make their characters and Skells (mechs) to suit their best playstyle, enhancing the overall experience. Despite a few hiccups it was everything i ever wanted. It was an incredible experience offering a mix of exploration, combat, and storytelling that is both immersive and rewarding with all quality of life improvements!
